Tämä oli selvästi kesän viimeinen viikonloppu kesämökillä. Kahdessa päivässä tapahtui suuri muutos. Syksy saapui. Värit ovat nyt luonnossa erilaiset. Minä pidän syksystä, joten siinä mielessä ei mitään valittamista. Kun vain muistaa pukeutua riittävän lämpimästi. Lauantai-iltana ei tehnyt enää mieli uimaankaan saunasta käsin, sillä järvi näytti niin syksyiseltä ja kylmältä.The fall is here. We probably spent our last weekend on the summer cottage. This weekend there was a great change as the weather got colder, the colors in the nature are now different and there is no sign of summer any more. I like the fall, so I am not complaining. The little irritation from the cold weathers I should be able to handle with warm clothing. On saturday I didn't even feel like swimming (and I do love the swims on the lake) when we were bathing in sauna on the summer cottage. The water looked so chilly and uninviting.
Seuraavassa postauksessa jotain meiltä sisältäkin, syksyn kunniaksi... Olen tainnut aika paljon viihtyä tuolla ulkoilmassa kameran kanssa tänä kesänä, mutta pitkä syksy ja talvihan tässä on tulossa ja sitten on aikaa keskittyä seinien sisältä löytyviin kauniisiin asioihin ja tunnelmiin.
Next post will be about something inside our home... I have been concentrating a lot on outdoor life this summer. But there is a lot of time to focus on everything beautiful inside as the fall and the winter tempt us to find the warmth and the beauty inside the walls of our home instead of the garden.

Aivan ihanan tunnelmallisia kuvia. Tulee mieli laittaa saappaat jalkaa ja lähteä ulos, mutta villapaita päällä.
Voi, niin kylmä täälläkin tänään! Kaipaan kovasti jo tulevaa kaakeliuuniamme! Ajattelinkin tänään tehdä postauksen kylmyydestä;) Täytyi jo laittaa öljylämmitys päälle. Mutta ihana tuo eka kuva, saa todellakin ajattelemaan sitä kaakeliuunia!

Ofcourse you focus more on the outside world during the summertime, we more and less live outside!! We have plenty of time to sit inside and enjoy on the fact that the summer is too short. Here in Holland we never really get the feeling of winter. Where i live (up north) it never gets colder than -2 degrees. And in Norway i was used to -20. That`s a huge difference!! So i am not complaining at all. I am not that fond of cold winters. But i do like snow on sunny winter days. Oh, the nature looks at it`s best i think, when the sky is blue, the sun is shining and the snow is laying as a carpet on the trees.
But my favourite season has to be the fall or the springtime. But i really LOVE the fall!! Yes, with the colours, the fresh air and it is not too cold or warm outside. I really enjoyed your story, and it is so fun to think about the tradition you have with sauna. Do you also have an outdoor wooden bath tub? Your pictures are beautiful, and i really like the first one with the basket filled with firewood. So cocy!!

Jälleen ihania tunnelmakuvia täällä! Minä en erityisemmin välittäisi vielä syksystä (kesästä pidän aina kiinni viimeiseen asti, kynsin hampain), mutta mökillä vietetyt tunnelmalliset illat ovat kyllä mielestäni mukavia. Veteen ei silti minunkaan enää tee mieli pulahtaa, mutta kun mies aina yllyttää! :D

Vintage living: Oi kun meilläkin olisi kaakeliuuni. Tai edes tilattuna... takan rakennuttaminen on kyllä harkinnassa, mutta se on vielä kaukainen haave. Tällaisina päivinä siitä todella nauttisi.

Tuula: Kynttilänvalo ja vähäinen hyttysmäärä näin loppukesästä / alkusyksystä todellakin saa nauttimaan mökki-illoista. ;)
